The southwestern parts of Chobe National Park, known as the Savuti Marsh and Linyanti Swamps, are home to a staggering number of wildlife that traverse rich grasslands, lagoons and forests fed by a network of rivers and channels. Relatively remote and with only a handful of safari camps in the area, it offers a more intimate and low-key safari experience. Known as a prime Big 5 safari destination, Linyanti and Savuti are particularly famous for their predator population as well as a diverse and abundant number of other animals and birdlife.
