The multi-generational Saven family turned their family reunion into a tropical extravaganza on the island of Mauritius where South African and British family members gathered to reconnect. One of the finest luxury hotels in the country, the Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa was the perfect base for both the adults and young children to enjoy. With its superb location on the islands south-western tip, they enjoyed relaxing on idyllic white sand beaches, swimming, snorkelling, surfing and kiteboarding in the exquisite reef-protected lagoon, along with regular visits to the golf course and spa.
Arriving at Mauritius Airport, the two parties proceeded to the Beachcomber check-in counter for their coach transfer to their hotel. The family then enjoyed 12 nights of bliss together with plenty of gourmet meals, leisurely golf games, water sports, sun bathing, swimming, spa visits and tea times reminicing over old memories and creating brand new shared memories. They also enjoyed a trip to Domaine Des Grands Bois, an impressive 2000 acre park inhabited by a variety of wildlife such as stags, deer, monkeys and rare, exotic birds. The coastal area has managed to retain much of its natural beauty – the ideal location for a family getaway and an opportunity to disconnect from the online world.
After a blissful holiday together, the two groups returned to Mauritius Airport for their respective trips home.
