Day 1-2: Kapama Private Game Reserve

On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, the group was met and transferred by road to Kapama River Lodge where they enjoyed a delicious lunch spread upon arrival. Located within the massive Kapama Private Game Reserve, Kapama River Lodge is set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains and is the largest private game lodge in the Kruger National Park. The service is unmatched in its quality and staying at this lodge is an absolute pleasure. Following a high tea, the group headed out on an afternoon game drive with their ranger before gathering for a private bush dinner together. as a group. Day two of their stay called for an early morning wake-up to depart for Jabulani and elephant interaction. A ranger took the group to the elephants for a 90-minute interaction, managed by a qualified elephant handler. Guests had the opportunity to touch and feed these magnificent creatures while learning more about them and capitalising on terrific photographic opportunities. Returning to the lodge for breakfast, the next activity was a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. A guide took them to the facility where cheetahs and a number of other rehabilitated animals including African wild dogs, lions, African wild cats, ground hornbills and sable antelope could be viewed at close range in a habitat simulating what they would experience in the wild. After a full morning, Laura and her group returned to their lodges in time for lunch, followed by siesta time, afternoon tea and a late afternoon game drive before taking dinner at their individual lodges.

Day 3: End of their Journey

Making the most of their final day on safari, the group could choose to join an early morning game drive or head off for an exhilarating hot air balloon ride for a sky safari. After breakfast, they checked out of the lodge and transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for their scheduled flight back to Cape Town International Airport to explore Mother City at their leisure.
