Day 1 - 4: Kruger National Park

Duane and Darlene arrived in to the Kruger National Park for a stay at a private lodge, where they experienced safari drives in the company of skilled guides and trackers, followed by walking safaris along ancient rhino footpaths, while soaking up the scale and detail of the bush. Added to the excitement, a night was spent on a Sleepout Deck. The couple enjoyed dinner cooked on an open fire and fell asleep to the sound of hyenas whooping and the rumble of elephants close by.

Day 5 - 7: Victoria Falls, Zambia

With a super convenient flight directly in to Livingstone, the couple were sipping G&T’s by lunch time on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Staying in an open-sided chalet, it does not get closer to nature than this! The couple’s days were filled with visits to the Victoria Falls, canoeing, white-water rafting and fishing. Island lunches, boat cruises at sunset and sunrise and a romantic dinner on a pontoon in the river ensured some down time too.

Day 8 - 9: Chobe National Park

A private road transfer saw Duane and Darlene arrive in Chobe National Park. They will never forget you will never forget the first glimpse of the dazzling, deep blue Chobe River, as it winds its way through sandy terrain, small towns, lush floodplains, dense forests of cathedral mopane trees, and endless broadleaf woodlands. Famed for its massive elephant populations, big herds of buffalo (matched only by some large lion prides) and incredible birdlife, Chobe National Park left an everlasting memory.

Day 10 - 13: Kalahari, Botswana

Ensuring that Botswana’s diverse regions were explored, Duane and Darlene’s next stop was at a private camp overlooking the stunning Selinda Spillway in northern Botswana. Horseback sfaris, mokoro (dugout canoe) safaris, game drives and walks ensured an adventurous and memorable stay – there is nothing like this anywhere on earth!

Day 14: End of itinerary

A short flight over the Delta saw the couple returning to Maun and on to Johannesburg, where they were safely escorted through customs and immigration to board their flight home. Duane and Darlene fell in love with Africa and viwed to return.
